Biography

I am a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at The University of Hong Kong (HKU), where I work with our teaching team to design and coordinate active learning initiatives, including the flagship Engineering Challenges course. My focus is on advancing immersive, hands-on engineering education that brings together autonomous systems, intelligent robotics, and AI, empowering students to tackle real-world problems from concept to prototype.

Autonomous Drone Inspection for Swimming Pool Ceiling
This project presents a fully autonomous drone-based inspection for the ceiling of a standard swimming pool.
Autonomous Indoor Drone Inspection and Modeling System
This project presents an autonomous indoor drone inspection system with a novel GPU-accelerated mapping algorithm and an AI-based Building Information Modeling method.
